FAIRY PIXIE CORNER

The Fairy Pixie Corner was kind of like Mother Goose on heroine. Originating at the beginning of the third season, this burnt-out "fairy pixie" named Sheldon Mifkin (played by John Ten Eyck) would come into the basement and recite a short poem about a television show and the contestant had to guess what show he was talking about. He could appear in either round and scoring in this category was just like a normal category. After the Fairy Pixie's initial season, his character was changed. Instead of this mess of a person, they made him a very shy gay person.
