| My Policies & So Forth |
Yes, the famous rules page. It's pretty standard fare, but please read this completely before proposing a trade. If I'm the one who proposes the trade, you don't need to read this.
-Trading for money is illegal, so don't even try it. I won't even bother replying and I will block your E-Mail address.
-When contacting me, please don't rattle off everything you want from me right off the bat. Sending an E-Mail to me does not guarantee that a trade will happen. It's called a "proposal" for a reason.
-I do even trades only, 6 hours for 6 hours, 24 hours for 24, etc. I am not a fan of ratios, I don't care how rare anything is.
-If you haven't traded with me before, I will need to receive my tape first before I mail your's out. I've been ripped off before, and It's not fun.
-I cannot offer DVDs, so don't ask. I had a cheap, piece of junk DVD recorder, but it no longer records. Replacing it is unfortunately not in my budget at this time.
-I prefer to receive tapes, but I can watch DVDs (I've got a separate DVD player and an XBox 360 which suffice). I'm not in the business of making it intentionally difficult, so just do whatever is easier for you.
-When recording, please use a brand new, brand name tape; I will do the same. I prefer Sony, Maxell, or TDK, but just about any name brand is fine. However, Fuji, Magnavox, as well as any discount/store brand, are no-nos. Also, please do not write on the tape labels.
-Do not start an episode at the end of one tape and continue it at the beginning of the next.
-Minimum trades I do are 6 hours. I've tried two hour trades, and they're just not worth the effort and money, in my opinion, unless it's for something incredibly snazzy.
-I always check my tapes before mailing them out to make sure there isn't anything missing or any mistakes, please do the same.
-If a show was taped 1997 or before, please leave the commercials in even if it's a rerun or a syndicated airing.
-If you are offering me a trade for the first time, you will have to tell me a password before I accept or reject your trade proposal; I won't even look at your collection before I see the password. You can find the password at the bottom of this page. Also, it's really tiny and will change every once in a while. I'm doing this to make sure that you are reading my rules.
